직업은 무엇인가?
A career is a person's lifework.
직업은 한 사람의 평생의 일이다.
It takes us a long time of endeavor and education to get the career we want.
우리가 원하는 직업을 얻기 위해서는 노력과 교육에 많은 시간이 걸린다.
A career gives us a chance for self-realization.
직업은 자기 실현을 위한 기회를 제공한다.
It  also gives us an opportunity to participate in our society as an active member.
또한 적극적인 구성원으로서 사회에 참여할수 있는 기회를 제공한다.
Moreover. a career enables us to become financially independent individuals.
게다가 직업은 개인적으로 경제적인 독립을 가능하게 한다.
It is very important to choose a career that can satisfy yourself.
그것은 자기 자신을 만족할수 있는 직업을 선택하는것이 매우 중요한다.
If you choose a career for the sake of fame or money, it will not last long.
만약 당신이 명성이나 돈을 위해 직업을 선택한다면 오래 가지 않을 것입니다.
You have to find a career that you can truly feel satisfied with.
당신은 당신이 진정으로 만족을 느낄수 있는 직업을 찾아야만 한다.
Satisfaction comes when you feel pleased about the tasks you will perform.
당신이 당신의 작업에 기쁨을 느낄때 만족감이 찾아온다.
Satisfaction is also derived when you reach out for others and also
when you achieve your personal goals.
만족감은 또한 당신이 다른 사람에게 도움의 손길을 내밀때나 당신 개인의 목표를 달상했을때 찾아온다.
However, these days many people tend to choose a career just to satisfy their material needs.
하지만 요즘 많은 사람들은 자신의 자료를 충족하기 위해 직업을 선택하는 경향이 있다.
They don't care for the needs of others.
그들은 다른 이들의 요구에 개의치 않는다.
Looking into the needs of others will certainly make your career more worthwhile.
다른 사람들의 요구를 살펴 보면 당신의 직업에서  더욱 애쓸 필요가 있다.

직업은 당신이 경제적으로 독립할수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

and expand your perspective in the society.

Careers can be divided into three categories; white collar work, blue collar work and gray color work.
직업은 화이트 칼라 블루칼라 그레이 칼라 세가지 범주로 나눌수 있다.
It does not matter what color of shirt they wear.
그들이 입은 셔츠 색은 문제가 되지 않는다.
That importance should lie on the fact whether or not you enjoy the work and find satisfaction in it.
중요한것은 당신이 일을 좋아하든지 만족감을 느끼는지 아닌지 찾는 사실에 기반을 하고 있다.
All kinds of careers are necessary to maintain our society.
모든 종류의 직업은 우리 사회를 유지하는데 필요하다.
We need engineers, for instandce, as much as we need doctors.

However, you must consider carefully your ability and aptitude as the future of te field which you choose.
하지만 당신은 당신이 선택한 분야의 미래 뿐만 아니라 능력과 적성을 신중하게 고려해야 합니다.
In order to get the career you want, you must have the patience to ecdure any difficulty.
당신이 원하는 직업을 얻기 위해서는 당신은 반드시 어떤 어려운 교육에 대한 인내심을 가져야 한다.
And you must develop personal coommunication skills to deal with all kinds of people.
그리고 당신은 모든 종류의 사람들과 거래를 하기 위해서는 개인 대화 능력을 개발해야한다.
And you must also have the willpower to discipline yourself, and have the willingness to learn new things and you must prepare yourself well at school.
그리고 당신은 또한 자기 자신을 훈련하는는 의지가 필요하고 기꺼이 새로운 것을 배울수 있어야 하고 학교에서 스스로 준비를 해야한다.
These will make you succeed in your career.
