theomas xdison was one of the greatest inventors in the world and he was born in ohio in 1847.

토마스에디슨은 1847년 오하이오에서 태어난 세상에서 가장 위대한 발명가였다.

he had a serious fever as a young child and began to lose his hearing at that age.

그는 어린아이때 심각한 열병을 앓았고 그때부터 그의 청각을 잃어갔다.

by the end of his life he was almost totally deaf.

edison patented over one thousand inventions during his life.

he died in 1931 and all americans dimmed their electric lights for one minute to pay tribute to this extraordinary inventor.
